Explain more about "pre-built"
Elements of the sauna are broken down into pieces. This will allows the sauna to move through halls and doorways and assembled in place where it will stay.
What can I expect from delivery?
Your Pre-Built sauna will be delivered on a large truck, usually 40′ or longer. The sauna will come unassembled in 3 large boxes. Prior to your purchase we will work with you to ensure you’re within our local delivery area and basic site preparations needed prior to a smooth delivery.
Can I pick up a pre-built sauna or does it have to be delivered?
In-stock pre-built saunas can be driven home by you! They come in 3 boxes and can be loaded into a pickup truck. You will be given assembly instructions to DIY the set up your sauna.
Will you assemble my "pre-built" sauna?
We offer local delivery and installation for a $399 fee. Please see store for details on qualifying local areas.
How hard is it to install a Pre-Built sauna?
It is much less involved than building a custom sauna, but it is still a construction project! The walls come in panels that must be assembled and attached correctly. The benches are heavy and must be installed in the correct position using the hardware provided. The glass pieces must be carefully handled and installed correctly.
The pre-built saunas instructions provided are for general guidance, and not intended to be a perfect step-by-step for your exact model.
There are quite a few wires to run, even in a traditional sauna. The panels have conduit pre-installed for all of your wires. After the structure is built those wires need to pulled through the conduit for: LED lights, temperature sensor, wall control, and heater.
A traditional sauna is a high-voltage appliance, final wiring of the electrical components and connection to your dedicated sauna circuit must be performed by a licensed electrician.
The Pre-Built saunas require at least 2 people to assemble.
How is the sauna powered?
The infrared only Axis can be plugged into a normal outlet. It requires a dedicated 120 volt, 15 Amp circuit. The outlet must be located within 8 feet of the sauna.
With the traditional heater, a second circuit will be required, and will need to be 120 volts, 20 Amps. The outlet must be within 8 feet of the sauna.
Do I need a contractor to install a pre-built sauna?
Assembling the Axis is a breeze. All you need is two people and a drill!
The heaviest panel weighs 50lbs.
Do I need an electrician to install a pre-built sauna
While not required for the actual installation, we strongly recommend that a licensed electrician assess your unique situation, confirm that the required power is available, and perform any wiring that needs to be done.

If you purchase the optional traditional heater, a second circuit will be required, and will need to be 120 volts, 15 Amps. It is recommended that the heater be direct wired. That means your electrician will run a wire for the heater (not supplied) into a junction box in the wall.
